Caroline M. Mahood, 91, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 23, 2021 at her residence.
She was born April 27, 1929 in Mayport, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond E. Milliron and the late Laura Spindler Milliron.
Caroline was a member of St. Andrew’s United Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon, and a Sunday School Teacher. She was a former member of Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Caroline enjoyed baking pies and cookies.
Caroline is survived by her son, James P. Mahood, Jr. of Butler, PA; three daughters, Susan (Robert) Barrone of Pittsburgh, PA, Cynthia (Dean) Collins of Franklin, PA, and Carol M. Israel of Butler, PA; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Patrick Mahood, who passed away on April 10, 1994; and one sister.
Friends will be received Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 11:30 a.m. at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA with Pastor Merry H. Meloy of St. Andrew’s United Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in the North Side Cemetery.
