Carolyn S. (Elliott) Greenawalt

Carolyn S. (Elliott) Greenawalt, 77 of West Sunbury gained her wings on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. She was born in Butler on November 4th, 1945 to the late Dale “Grump” and Sarah “Tiny” (Myers) Elliott. Carolyn enjoyed the outdoors, loved farming, animals, working hard, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and always had a story to tell connected to farming. She loved raising her family around her principles and hard work. She was loved, respected, and will be forever missed. She is now farming the farm of her dreams. She was the mother of Sandra Stoner and Donna (Joe) Patterson; grandmother of Brandy, Felicia, Chelsea, Adam, Brooke, and Paige; great grandmother of Justice, Jayla, Jaxson, Riley, Cameron, Cayden, Caleb, and Emersyn. She is also survived by her beloved cousin Carol Jane Hulton and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Greenawalt, daughter Tammy Duffield, and her infant son Paul. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 from 5-8 PM in the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home, burial will be held privately.
