While temperatures may be mild today, local residents are looking forward to a chilly weekend as an icy event returns to downtown Butler.
Butler AM Rotary’s 8th annual “Carved In Ice” is set for this Friday and Saturday at Diamond Park in Butler.
The free event features live carvings of different ice sculptures that represent local businesses and organizations.
Carved in Ice begins Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m. and will have lights on the ice, adult beverages, and food vendors.
Saturday runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a chili cook-off, an ice slide for kids, a hot dog eating contest, music, and food trucks.
Proceeds from this event will support the Butler AM Rotary Charities Annual Giving Fund. Visit the Rotary’s website for more information.
