The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is loosening COVID-19 guidelines as families ready to go back to school.
The new guidance says you do not have to self-isolate if you’ve been exposed to COVID-19. However, they recommend that you wear a high-quality mask at work or school for 10 days.
They also say there does not need to be ongoing screening at schools.
One of the other major changes was to eliminate the six feet distancing rule.
The CDC adds that if you do test positive for COVID, you should isolate for five days.
