It’s another peak alert day for Central Electric customers.
With temperatures expected to close in on 90 degrees today, the CEC is recommending customers conserve energy.
They ask that you turn off all non-essential electric items during the peak hours 1 to 7 p.m. and set your air conditioner to a minimum of 78 degrees.
Also they’re asking that dehumidifiers, pool pumps, and electric appliances get used outside of the peak hours today.
