Cecelia A. “Spud” Osche Reges, 87, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 13, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
She was born April 17, 1934, in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Herman Osche and the late Anna Weiland.
Cecelia worked at Castle Rubber, Butler Junior High in the cafeteria, Service Star – American Hardware, retiring in 1991. Cecelia was a member of the East Butler Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary and cooked at the fire hall as well. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 117, Elks, and Moose Clubs. Cecelia enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling, gambling, and going to her camp in the mountains. She liked playing cards such as poker, spades, scat, along with other card games and bingo. Cecelia loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.
Cecelia is survived by her three sons, Howard “Howdy” (Sue) Reges Jr., Randall “Randy” Reges, Mark (Pam) Reges; two daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Cowan, Lori (Mark) Sell; one daughter-in-law, Lenore Reges; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one sister, Judy Isovitsch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Reges, one son, Timothy Reges, and six brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St Wendelin Road, Butler, PA, with Rev. Matthew McClain, officiating.
Burial will take place in the St Wendelin Cemetery Roman Catholic Church.
