Cesar P. Miranda, MD

Cesar P. Miranda, MD, 92, of Butler, passed away, Friday, June 9, 2023, at Forbes Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 3, 1930 in Manila, Philippines, the son of the late Eulogio Miranda and Apolilaria (Peraz) Miranda.
Cesar was a Cardiologist for the Butler Memorial Hospital and the Butler VA Medical Center, also having a private practice in Butler, retiring in 1998. He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Surviving is his wife, Melanie S. (Soriano) Miranda, whom he married December 19, 1964.
His children: Jay (Tina) Miranda, Miriam “Joy” (Scott) Albert, Maricar (Jim) Beck and Marilou (Joe) LeVier.
Grandchildren: Anthony, Alexander, Angela (Josh), Alexandra, Nathaniel, Dante, Ryan, Emilee, Jake, Mateo and Luka.
2 great granddaughters, Amelia and Kennedy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Therese Miranda, also his sister.
Private Services will be held for his family. Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler.
