The Butler County Chamber of Commerce is naming their annual award winners.
The chamber names three different awardees each year, with presentations given at their annual dinner.
Cleveland Cliffs is being recognized as the David L. Lloyd Chamber Champion. This award honors an organization that plays an integral role in the county business climate and community.
Doug Sprankle was named the William A. Morgan Entrepreneur of the Year. He is the founder and operated of Sprankle’s Neighborhood Markets and recently opened the Sprankle’s Woods event space.
Tammy Schuey of the Butler Eagle was honored with the Stan Kosciuszko Leadership Excellence Award. She has worked for the local paper for over 30 years, including her role now as general manager.
All three will be honored at a dinner on September 4th at Slippery Rock University. Tickets are expected to be on sale soon on the chamber’s website.
