It is championship weekend in the NFL, with both the AFC and NFC Championship games being played Sunday to determine who will participate in this year’s Super Bowl in two weeks.
The Green Bay Packers will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday in the NFC title game. Kick-off is 3:05pm.
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills in the AFC championship game. Kick-off is 6:40pm.
The Green Bay organization is mourning the loss of their former general manager Ted Thompson, who died this week at the age of 68. He was with Green Bay from 2005 to 2017, and was responsible for drafting two-time MVP Aaron Rodgers, who led the Packers to the 2010 Super Bowl championship. Thompson had announced two years ago he had been diagnosed with a nerve disorder.
