Charles “Charlie” Blair Jr

Charles “Charlie” Blair Jr, 80, of Butler passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. He was born in Salem, Pa. on April 16, 1943 to the late Charles Blair Sr and Hazel (Shaner) Guthrie. Charles served his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964. He worked as a mechanic for most of his career. He was known for helping anyone in need. Charlie spent most of his time working on someone’s vehicle, but everything would come to a halt when it came to his girls. He also liked playing cards with family and friends, fishing, hunting, and bowling. Charles was the father of Kelly (Robert) Sheppeck and Susan (William) Pint; brother of Carol Donovan; grandfather of Meghan and Tanner who were his world. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Judith (Bowser) Blair and his siblings Barbara Romanish, Terrence Blair, and Diane Blair. Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 5-7 PM at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA. 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
