Charles J. “Bo” Dickey, 73, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 6, 2021 at his residence.
He was born July 27, 1948 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence Edward Dickey and the late Pearl Irene (Morrison) Dickey.
Charles was a 1966 graduate of Butler High School. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a postal carrier for 37 years. Charles enjoyed golfing, playing softball and enjoyed long distance cycling. He was an avid Steelers, Penguin and Pirates fan. Charles was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and also attended First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy (John) Fleeger of Butler, PA; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Abbey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol A. Hegburg, two brothers, Clarance “Sonny” E. Dickey, and William “Billy” D. Dickey.
Friends will be received Monday, December 13, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA. Funeral will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm with Reverend David Janz of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
