Charles M. Moses Sr., 80, of Butler passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021. Born January 12, 1941 in Lyndora, he was the son of the late Charles S. and Mary (Roskovski) Moses. Chuck was a graduate of Butler High School Class of 1958. He was employed at Armco Steel for 43 years. Chuck was an avid sportsman and was inducted into the Butler Sports Hall of Fame in 2008. He also owned and trained harness racehorses and was a member of the United States Trotting Association. He was the proud owner of Tremor Hanover, 2011 Pacer of the Year at the Meadows Racetrack. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Polanec) Moses, his sons Chuck Moses Jr. & Rick Moses, his daughters Debra Moses, Christine (Bryn) Martin, and grandchildren, Mark & Michael Moses, Aaron (Jennifer) Johnston, Shawn Johnston and aunts, uncles and cousins.
