Charles “Rusty” Macurdy

Charles “Rusty” Macurdy, 77, of Cabot passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He was born in Butler on January 15, 1945 to the late Charles and Anna Macurdy. Charles honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Pullman and Trinity until they each closed. Charles enjoyed working on classic cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Macurdy since their marriage in 1978; father of Michael (Brenda) Macurdy and Patrick (Amanda) Macurdy; brother of Jerry (Nancy) Macurdy, Rich (Karen) Macurdy, Bob Macurdy, Marie (James) Salsgiver, and Judy Reed; grandfather of Nikki (Cole) Harvey, Keri Macurdy, Justin Macurdy, and Matthew Macurdy; and great grandfather of Kaia Harvey. Charles was preceded in death by his sister Carol McClain. His funeral will be held privately through the SPENCER D.
