A local man is facing federal drug charges.
According to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, 51-year-old Scott Musthaf of Chicora has been indicted by a federal grand jury for violating narcotics laws.
The indictment alleges that last December Musthaf possessed with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. The State Police and U.S. Postal Inspection Service investigated this alleged crime.
Musthaf is facing up to 5 years in prison if convicted as well as a possible fine of $5 million.
