A Chicora woman has been charged following allegations of fraud while responsible for the Karns City Elementary Basketball program bank account.
According to State Police, 40-year-old Wendy Taylor will face charges of Access Device Fraud, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Theft by Failure to make required disposition of funds received.
An investigation into the account last month revealed surveillance video of Taylor at Walmart in Clarion purchasing groceries and other items as well as using money from the account to pay a personal cell phone bill and other debits.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, Taylor was a special education teacher at the Moniteau School District.
After being arrested, Taylor was booked into the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bond.
