A group of about 30 kids from three states have spent the last couple of days at Camp Kon-O-Kwee near Zelienople as part of Allegheny Health Network’s annual summer camp for children with burn injuries.
This is the 33rd year for the camp- which is meant to bring children together who are all on an ongoing journey of recovery.
The children at the camp this year range in age from 8 to 18 years old and are from Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
Donations make the camp free for the children. The event wraps up this afternoon.
