Cranberry Township is getting an early start on the holiday season later this week.
The Township waterpark is hosting a Christmas in July event on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Those attending are encouraged to wear festive swimsuits and enjoy holiday music. Township mascot CTÂ will be spreading holiday cheer and Chris Cringle may stop by as well.
A Cranberry Township ambulance will be used as a Toys for Tots collection vehicle to accept new and unwrapped toy donations, which will be distributed to needy children by the Marine Corp. on Christmas Day. Those who donate will be entered into a drawing to win free waterpark guest passes.
