An accident in Center Township left the lawn of a local church damaged.
State Police were called to an accident at the intersection of Mercer Road and North Duffy Road for a two vehicle crash last Thursday at 6 p.m.
A car driven by an unnamed 17-year-old of Butler was on Mercer Road when a car driven by 24-year-old Raven Hartzell of Butler was driving on Duffy Road.
Hartzell did not have proper clearance when crossing the intersection and struck the 17-year-old.
There were no injuries in the crash but the 17-year-old’s vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and damaged the landscaping at the Community Alliance Church.
Hartwell was given a violation for stop signs and yield signs.
