The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Butler is moving forward with plans for more road reconstruction projects next summer.
The Authority’s board approved a bid proposal Thursday afternoon from Olsen Craft and Associates for providing engineering services for the projects on Euclid, Sumner, Cottage Hill, and Spang Avenues as well as South Main Street at a cost not to exceed $19,000.
This is the same firm that provided engineering services for last summer’s Lincoln Avenue reconstruction project but this street paving work is not expected to be as involved. This work will be paid for using funds from the 2018 Community Development Block Grant.
The Authority expects the projects to be put out to bid in the spring and actually take place sometime in the summer of 2020.
