The city of Butler’s Farmers’ Market will open for the season this weekend.
The market is located on Chestnut Street, behind the Butler County Courthouse, and managed by Butler Downtown. Local farmers and crafters sell their produce and products every Saturday throughout the summer from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Organizers say there will be some new features this year, including new meat vendors and organic produce.
The market closes at the end of October.
