A Butler man is in jail after he allegedly pointed a gun at a group of children.
Police say it happened last Thursday on 4th Avenue in Butler when 49-year-old Scott Spahn got into an argument with a group of six children, between the ages of 10 and 12, after their football kept coming into his yard.
When the kids got their ball back, Spahn unwrapped a shirt he was holding and pulled out at handgun, which he pointed at the children. The kids fled and called 911.
When police arrived with a search warrant, they found the black Ruger .44 revolver and took Spahn into custody.
Spahn is in the Butler County Prison on $200,000 bond.
