UPDATE 11 AM Friday: Elexis Jade Proper was found safe by City Police Thursday night. It was determined that she left on her own accord.

Police are searching for a missing teenager from the Butler area.
Butler City Police say 15-year-old Elexis Jade Proper was reported missing by her father yesterday (Wednesday).
Proper is a white female just over five feet tall and weighing around 125 pounds. She is wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and black tennis shoes with white soles. Officers have checked various residences and her school as well as spoken with family and friends.
Anyone with information regarding this ongoing investigation is asked to call Butler 911.
