Butler City Police are asking for help to find out who was responsible for firing a gun last weekend in the city’s West End.
Officers were called to the 200 block of North Chestnut Street shortly after noon Sunday after receiving a report of multiple shots fired.
According to Butler City Police, multiple bullet holes were found in a porch as well as what appeared to be a bullet hole in the siding of a home across the street. Witnesses told police they saw a large group fleeing the scene.
There were no injuries reported. Police say they recovered a handgun from the scene and conducted multiple interviews with the assistance of Butler Township Police and the State Police crime unit.
