Members of Butler City Council are holding an open house for residents to offer input on the sale of the Butler Area Sewer Authority.
The proposed sale to Pennsylvania American Water is still in front of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, but if it goes through the City of Butler and Butler Township would receive over $90 million each.
The City is holding a meeting where residents can weigh in on how that money should be spent.
The open house is Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market on Chestnut Street.
