Butler City residents who want to take on the role as the city’s next treasurer can now send their letters of interest.
Butler City Council says applicants must be at least 21 years of age, reside within city limits for at least one year, and be an accountant. The position’s term will expire at the end of 2023.
Letters of interest are due by noon December 19th and can be turned into the Butler City Building on West North Street. Call 724-285-4124, extension 205 for more information.
Aaron Bonus has been the City Treasurer since June of 2019 but has announced his plans to resign effective December 1st since he plans to move outside of the city.
