Motorists in southern Butler County should be aware of a PennDOT bridge project beginning tomorrow.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the project will focus on bridges on Saxonburg Boulevard over Rocky Run in Clinton Township.
Crews will first close Saxonburg Boulevard at the intersection with Wylie Road in the north and at Brewer Road in the south. Signage will be posted indicating a detour for motorists using Ekastown Road.
Once completed, the second stage of this project will involve the replacement of two structures on Wylie and Brewer Roads which are Clinton Township Roads. That project will also have a posted detour.
This $1.85 million project is expected to be completed near the end of September.
