Clyde Fleeger

Clyde Fleeger, 88, of Butler passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born in Galveston, Tx on September 1, 1935 to the late Walter and Emily (Zimmerman) Fleeger. After graduating from Butler high School, Clyde went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Army, 3RD Infantry Division. He was a participant of Operation Sagebrush in 1955. Clyde worked for Armco Steel until retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, music, fast cars, baseball, hunting, and fishing. Clyde was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #64 and the president of Center Twp. Baseball Association for 9 years. Clyde was the beloved husband of Emelda “Midge” Fleeger for 67 years; father of Linda (Brian) McKain, Timothy Fleeger, and Kimberly Rusnak; brother of Gene (Margie) Fleeger and Anne Parenti; grandfather of Jeremiaha Fleeger, Tashawna (Alex) Giacco, Chelsea (JJ) McKain-Summerville, Sean Rusnak, and Ronald Fleeger; great grandfather of Maxwell and Brandon Giacco. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and will be forever missed by Kelly Gifford. Clyde was preceded in death by his son Kenneth D. Fleeger and grandson Kenneth Jason Fleeger.
