The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is a uniformed, civilian, volunteer group looking for volunteers interested in serving country and community on the water, in the air, and on land.
The Auxiliary assists the Coast Guard with Homeland Security duties, teaches boating safety classes, and conducts free boat safety checks. Training opportunities include marine safety and environmental protection, recreational boating safety, and community outreach.
Applicants must be a US citizen, at least 17 years old, and pass a background check.
