Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and locally people will have two opportunities to dispose of old unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs responsibly.
The first event is an annual event in Cranberry Township taking place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the rear of the parking lot at the Municipal Center. There will also be a used eyeglass donation as well.
Butler VA is pairing with the Drug Enforcement Administration and they will be collecting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Butler VA New Castle Road Campus Parking Lot number 18.
Injectable medicine, syringes, or illegal drugs will not be accepted. Any liquids need to have tightly sealed caps.
