College Football Saturday:
–#9-ranked Slippery Rock will travel to face rival and #21-ranked IUP for a 2pm kick-off. It is Homecoming for the Crimson Hawks. Hear the Coach Shawn Lutz Show beginning at 1:30pm on The Rock Station 97.7fm. This is only the eighth time in 97 meetings in the history of this storied rivalry that both teams have been nationally ranked when they meet.
–Pitt opens ACC play on the road at North Carolina. Kick-off is noon. The Panthers are 4-0 and will see the return of star running back Rodney Hammond, Jr. for this game.
