A college student is accused of raping another college student at an off-campus apartment in Grove City.
Alex Masciarelli, 22, of Stevensville, Maryland was arrested by Grove City Police following the alleged incident, which officers say happened in late February.
According to police, Masciarelli is accused of having sex with an intoxicated 21-year-old female who was unaware of what was occurring and unable to give consent.
Grove City Police completed an investigation, and Masciarelli turned himself into police last week. He was placed in the Mercer County Jail on charges of rape, sexual assault and indecent assault.
