A local company is recognizing an employee with a new award.
Concordia Lutheran Ministries recently named East Brady native and Licensed Practical Nurse Shennel Crissman as the recipient of the Stephen W. Johnson Mission Award. She works at the Concordia at Cabot Lund Care Center.
This award was created by an employee-led committee to honor the former Chairman of Concordia’s Board of Directors who passed away in 2020. A selection panel chose Crissman from over 100 nominees.
Crissman received her award at a banquet last week at Concordia at Cabot. She will be able to go on a mission trip funded by Concordia or have a $15,000 charitable donation made in her name. Concordia has made additional charitable donations in the names of three employees chosen as honorable mentions.
