Fans of German Food and Polka music are invited to attend an event for all ages in Cabot this weekend.
Concordia Lutheran Ministries is hosting their annual Oktoberfest on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Haven I Campus. Free parking and shuttle service available.
This event will feature a performance by the Mikey Dee Polka Band followed by a fireworks show. A German-themed menu will include Bavarian pork roast, kielbasa and sauerkraut, bratwurst, sauerbraten, Bavarian pretzels, apple cider, and a bake sale. Kids of all ages can enjoy free activities like pumpkin decorating, crafts, a hayride, balloons, pony rides, and a bounce house.
Those planning to attend will also be able to take a tour of the apartments and visit a blood pressure/flu shot clinic. More information can be found on the Concordia Lutheran Ministries website.
