Despite the bitter cold temperatures, yesterday marked the first time since January 2nd that the Pittsburgh region did not see any snow.
The streak reached 21 straight days that the area saw at least a trace of snow.
That’s the third longest streak of consecutive days that Pittsburgh had snow since the National Weather Service first started keeping track of data in 1871.
