Butler County has reached an agreement with a contractor for the new park in Marion Township.
County commissioners approved a contract with the EADS Group to handle the work.
The project includes the removal of existing playground equipment and the installation of new equipment, a new safety surface, along with a new grill, concrete pad, and sidewalk.
The work is expected to begin this spring.
