Coronavirus testing continues to increase across the state.
Pennsylvania’s testing director Michael Huff says there has been a significant increase in both antigen and PCR tests.
“Average PCR tests received per day over the last 30 days is almost 50,000 per day,” Huff said.
“Average antigen tests received per day over the last 30 days is almost 4,700 per day,” Huff added.
The antigen tests are designed to provide quicker results but the PCR tests are considered more accurate as they have are sent to a lab for more detailed analysis.
