An outgoing member of Butler City Council was given a special present at her final meeting.
Councilwoman Kathy Kline was presented with a Butler City Firefighter’s helmet by representatives of City Fire Department Thursday evening.
Firefighters Dean Selfridge and Firefighter Jonathan Feicht thanked Kline for her 12 years of public service to the city including the last 8 years as Director of Public Safety.
Kline’s term will conclude on January 2nd but she plans to continue to be involved in helping the city through a Neighborhood Drug Watch. The first meeting for that group is January 31st at 7 p.m. in the Butler Public Safety Building.
