Butler County has approved changes to their ballot curing policy.
The policy was officially adopted last May by the county, but there were some recent changes made that mainly impact disabled voters.
Under the new policy, disabled votes who need to make a change to their declaration envelope can enlist a person, known as a designated agent, to go to the election bureau to help make the change.
That person would have to complete a form from the election office recognizing them as a “designated agent” and then they would receive another form that would given to the voter to make the change.
Officials say that the actual ballot itself would never leave the elections office.
