Swimmers in the Saxonburg area are getting ready for another summer at the SEBCO Pool.
Contractors meanwhile are preparing for work that will provide significant upgrades to the community pool in Laura Doerr Park this fall.
Butler County Commissioners approved a contract with HRG to serve as engineers for the project. The work includes replacing the pool mechanical system, along with installing a new heater, liner, and pool deck. They will also be replacing the waterslide.
Officials say the work will not happen until this current season is over.
The SEBCO Pool is scheduled to open this Saturday.
