Butler County Commissioners gave their final approval to the 2024 budget.
No major changes were made since the initial $262 million total budget was presented last month. The general fund budget for the county is just over $78 million.
The budget includes no new taxes for county residents—keeping the millage rate at just over 22.
Commissioners say that they feel good about where the county is fiscally, also saying that the fund balance is in a good spot.
