The Housing Authority of the County of Butler is one of 83 across the state that will split over $8 million in federal funding through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
According to U.S. Senator Bob Casey, funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Housing Choice Voucher Program and admin fees will total over $175,000 to the local authority.
This money will help the authority maintain existing programs and provide safe, clean, and reliable housing to the Butler County community during the ongoing pandemic.
