Butler County has approved another $75,000 toward the county land bank.
The land bank is designed to bank parcels of land that are not being used or on the tax rolls, and to better them for future buyers.
The program is run through the county’s redevelopment authority. The program was started in 2018, but the pandemic delayed its implementation.
County officials say that the land bank is starting to grow and believe it is a beneficial way to facilitate the use of the properties.
