There was another jump in COVID-19 cases over the past week for Butler County.
According to Department of Health data, there were 286 new cases of COVID for the county in the past seven days. That’s up 114 more compared to last week.
Local hospitalizations are also up since the beginning of the week. Butler Memorial Hospital is treating 12 patients for the coronavirus with four in the ICU.
Statewide hospitalizations continue to climb as well, with more than 1,300 now receiving treatment.
