A neighborhood in Cranberry Township is taking steps to ensure safety and slower moving traffic.
The Cranberry Heights Homeowners Association proposed a permanent radar speed sign in their neighborhood at last week’s public meeting. The township agreed to the partnership and will split the cost with the HOA.
The board of supervisors also established a permanent radar speed sign installation policy to encourage similar requests in the future.
Cranberry has seen success with its Slow Down Campaign, which happens twice-a-year and targets different neighborhoods in the township.
