A Cranberry Township man has been sentenced for domestic violence on a cruise nearly three years ago.
According to the Department of Justice, 27-year-old Quintin Owens strangled, assaulted, and wounded his partner, also a Western Pennsylvania resident on a cruise out of Orlando in October 2022.
He will now serve 12 months of incarceration and pay a $5,000 fine.
This indictment took place in May of last year after the federal government claimed jurisdiction when the crime occurred on the high seas.
