Cranberry Township is unveiling a new program to help spur interest in volunteer firefighting.
The new Citizen’s Fire Academy is an eight-week program sponsored by the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company.
It will give residents and business owners a chance to explore the fire company’s operations.
The course is aimed at anyone curious about fire service, or just wants to learn more about the operations of the VFC.
The classes are held once a week and will focus on all aspects of the fire company and how firefighters respond.
You can register on the Cranberry VFC website.
