A group of local first responders will remember the 20th anniversary of the attacks of September 11th this weekend with a special gathering.
The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company will hang a large American flag from a ladder truck at the Route 19 station from sunrise to sunset on Saturday.
Cranberry’s Assistant Chief John Pristas will play “Taps” in front of the memorial outside of the station six different times between 8:46 a.m. and 10:28 a.m. to mark significant events during the attacks.
