Cranberry Township is beginning the bidding process for a new garbage collector.
A recent 10-year contract is set to expire and the township is opening the bidding process once again.
This time, the township is targeting a five-year agreement that would include yard waste, recycling collection, disposal, and processing.
Some other guidelines include having trucks that are operated by compressed natural gas, have GIS tracking, and have proper oversight and training.
Bids are due by April 4th.
