A local township will provide residents with an opportunity to legally dispose of hazardous waste later this week.
On Saturday (April 6th), Cranberry Township will host a Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection at their Public Works building on Route 19 from 9am to 1pm.
A variety of items can be disposed of during the collection, however, some items cannot. Items that cannot be collected include large appliances, fire extinguishers and smoke detectors, compressed gas canisters, tires, pharmaceutical products, medical waste, and explosives.
Advance registration is required online at www.ecsr.net. A schedule of fees is also available. For more information, call 866-815-0016.
