Cranberry Township has given the formal okay to move forward with renovations to the municipal center.
The board of supervisors approved a project to upgrade the center, which officials say has gone decades without any improvements.
The project will see a complete renovation of office and meeting space, the addition of a parks and recreation space, and other services.
It’s also expected that council chambers will be able to house larger meetings.
It’s expected that the project will be completed by the end of 2024.
